An independent hotel index
Four kinds of hotel,
read properly
Art, capsule, casino and ice. Eleven properties, each written up as prose rather than a specification sheet, with no scores, no rankings and nothing to book.
The index
Four categories, kept separate on purpose
Most hotel lists flatten every format into one scrolling column. These four are genuinely different buildings doing genuinely different jobs, so they get their own pages.
Art Hotels
Hotels where the building, its collection or its gardens carry as much weight as the bedrooms.
3 entries 02Capsule Hotels
Compact sleeping-berth hotels built around a small private cabin and generous shared floors.
3 entries 03Casino Hotels
Full-service hotels that happen to keep a gaming floor among their facilities.
4 entries 04Ice Hotels
Seasonal hotels rebuilt each winter from snow and ice, with warm accommodation alongside.
1 entryEditorial note
An index earns its keep by being short. Super Realms adds a hotel when there is something worth saying about the building, and leaves the rest of the field alone — no sponsored places, no star ratings, no booking engine behind the text.
